Kenston Forest is 8-2 against Southampton Academy since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Kavaliers will challenge the Raiders at 1:00 p.m. Kenston Forest will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

While Kenston Forest's victory against Fuqua wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Kavaliers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Falcons on Thursday.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Southampton Academy rose to the challenge on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Southampton Academy got a massive performance out of Kelsey Braun, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave Braun a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Webb, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Southampton Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Southampton Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Kenston Forest, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

Everything went Kenston Forest's way against Southampton Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Kenston Forest made off with a 12-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Kavaliers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
