Baseball Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

Colfax suffered their biggest loss since April 16, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 9-1 to the Lincoln Fighting Zebras. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colfax saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Stowers, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Lucas Clark also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Colfax's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Lincoln, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

While Colfax had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
