Volleyball Recap: Riverton Takes a Loss

Riverton's tournament run continued when they took on Wright on Friday. The Wolverines took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Riverton lost, don't look at Paige Wood. Despite the final result, she had five aces. Those aces were Wood's first of the season.

Riverton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wright, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Riverton has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Moorcroft on the 6th. As for Wright, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Sheridan on the 6th.
