Baseball Game Preview: Northridge Knights vs. Taylorsville Warriors

For the second straight game, Northridge will face off against Taylorsville. The Knights will welcome the Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Northridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Taylorsville 10-1.

Northridge let Mick Whitaker and Jon Olsen run wild. Whitaker went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, while Olsen went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Whitaker has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Trevin Redd, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Northridge's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Taylorsville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-15 record.
