Volleyball Recap: LaGrange Academy Comes Up Short

LaGrange Academy came up short against the Troup County Tigers on Wednesday and fell 2-0.

While LaGrange Academy was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23.

LaGrange Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Troup County, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. LaGrange Academy will face off against Heritage at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something LaGrange Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Troup County, they will square off against Fayette County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
