Lake Ridge has gone a perfect 7-0 against Crowley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Lake Ridge will welcome Crowley at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in Lake Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Lake Ridge is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering North Crowley just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 95-73. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Panthers are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Crowley waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with an 87-75 victory over the Tigers.

Lake Ridge better keep an eye on Jaelon Germany. He was instrumental in Crowley's win, shooting 68% from the field on his way to 30 points in addition to five boards and four blocks. The matchup was Germany's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Thirdkill, who went 6-for-10 en route to 13 points and five rebounds.

Crowley was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They are 12-6 when they've passed the ball that well.

Lake Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Crowley, their win bumped their record up to 12-14.

Lake Ridge beat Crowley 71-60 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Lake Ridge repeat their success, or does Crowley has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
