Beatty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Round Mountain Knights. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Beatty's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Round Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 2-11.

Beatty will be playing in front of their home fans against Spring Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Round Mountain, they will challenge Tonopah at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
