Softball Recap: Chardon Comes Up Short

Chardon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Walsh Jesuit Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Hilltoppers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Gwen Boyle made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Chardon's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Walsh Jesuit, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chardon will face off against Kenston at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Walsh Jesuit, they will challenge Copley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
