Seeger came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Parke Heritage Wolves 19-7. With that win, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Xavier Lang made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted over his last 11 contests.

In other batting news, Macyn Hughes was incredible, getting on base in five of his six plate appearances with three runs and three RBI. He has become a key player for Seeger: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-8 otherwise. Logan Anderson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Seeger kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parke Heritage only managed seven hits.

Seeger pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Parke Heritage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Seeger will challenge South Newton at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Parke Heritage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverton Parke at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
