Soccer Game Preview: Grace Christian Academy vs. King's Academy

The Grace Christian Academy Rams will challenge the King's Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Grace Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last eight matches.

Grace Christian Academy will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Christian Academy of Knoxville, who they had gone 1-7-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rams were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Warriors on Tuesday. Grace Christian Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Christian Academy of Knoxville from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Slade Hickson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, King's Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Everything went their way against Maryville Christian on Tuesday as they made off with a 9-1 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 6-0.

Grace Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for King's Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5-2.

Everything went Grace Christian Academy's way against King's Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Grace Christian Academy made off with a 5-0 victory.
