Chapin had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Loretto Angels. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

Chapin's offense was headlined by Ja'Lynn Valadez and Zoeh Cereceres, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Patricia Myres and her 20 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Chapin's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Loretto, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Chapin has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Bel Air on the 16th. As for Loretto, they are taking a road trip to challenge Santa Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
