Basketball Recap: Skyline Coyotes vs. Red Mountain Mountain Lions

The Skyline Coyotes took a 44-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Mountain Mountain Lions. Despite the loss, Skyline saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isaiah Bowens posted 14 points.

Gage Lindsey had an outrageously good game for Red Mountain as he dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Lindsey a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Pietro Dimuzio, who had ten points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Red Mountain, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 86-24 loss against Mountain View on the 20th. As for Red Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-33 victory against Dobson on the 21st.
