Volleyball Recap: Tuscarawas Valley Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Tuscarawas Valley and Dover, and Dover kept the tradition alive. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Crimson Tornadoes on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since September 21, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-18.

Tuscarawas Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dover, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tuscarawas Valley will square off against Garaway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Dover, they will challenge Wooster at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
