Football Recap: Iota Takes a Loss

After soaring to 62 points the game before, Iota was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 35-3 loss at the hands of the Church Point Bears. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Iota's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Church Point, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Iota is set to challenge their familiar foe Crowley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Church Point will face off against rival Pine Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
