Football Recap: Indian Springs Has No Trouble Against San Bernardino

Indian Springs was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against San Bernardino on Thursday. The COYOTES blew past the Cardinals 42-21. The result was nothing new for the COYOTES, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Nikolas Padilla had an outrageously good game as he threw for 134 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 105 yards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (153).

Padilla was just one part of a punishing run game: Indian Springs was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Indian Springs is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.8 points over those games. As for San Bernardino, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
