Baseball Game Preview: Cypress Woods Wildcats vs. Bridgeland Bears

The Cypress Woods Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Bridgeland Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cypress Woods' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Bridgeland's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cypress Woods took on Cypress Park on Thursday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Tigers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bridgeland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Cypress Ranch 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bears have posted since March 8th.

Bridgeland's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-4-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cypress Woods, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8-4.
