Soccer Recap: International Community Takes a Loss

After flying high against Geneva last Tuesday, International Community came back down to earth. The International Community Comets fell just short of the Orlando Science Orcas by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Comets were red-hot offensively headed into the matchup (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior) but the Orcas' defense proved too tough.

International Community moved to 12-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Orlando Science, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5-4 record this season.

International Community will take on Patel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Patel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season. As for Orlando Science, they will face off against Duval Charter at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
