Softball Game Preview: Hayden Lobos vs. Florence Gophers

Hayden hasn't had much luck against Florence recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lobos will look to defend their home field against the Gophers at 3:45 p.m. Hayden has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mogollon hit Hayden with a five-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lobos might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-7 to the Mustangs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Florence was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Anthem Prep.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Hayden, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
