While Sabetha's win against Jefferson West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bluejays narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Chloe Detweiler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Erin Boltz, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Kiera Keim, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Sabetha now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Jefferson West, they moved to 13-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Sabetha by a score of 9-5 later that day.
