Basketball Game Preview: Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles vs. Springville Tigers

The Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles and the Springville Tigers will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Saturday, Decatur Heritage Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Madison Academy and lost 63-44. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Springville beat St. Clair County 67-63 on Tuesday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Fighting Saints are ranked 272nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Springville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
