Pioneer is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to Dexter.

Meanwhile, Brighton entered their tilt with Glenn on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rockets a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brighton's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-14. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Pioneer, their loss dropped their record down to 16-16.
