Baseball Game Preview: Wheaton North Falcons vs. Lake Park Lancers

For the second straight game, Wheaton North will face off against Lake Park. The Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Lancers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Wheaton North took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Lake Park by a score of 5-2.

For Lake Park's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rocco Jones, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Wheaton North is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-16-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games.
