Volleyball Recap: Natalie Harris Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Wayne

St. Albans hadn't done well against Wayne recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Red Dragons came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Red Dragons: when they faced off against the Pioneers back in September, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

St. Albans walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 17-25, 25-19.

St. Albans' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Natalie Harris led the charge by getting 16 digs. That's the most digs Harris has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Adriana Taylor, who had eight digs and seven assists.

St. Albans' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-14. As for Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-24-1.

St. Albans will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pioneers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
