Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Creek Bears vs. Colonial Grenadiers + How To Watch

Cypress Creek is 2-8 against Colonial since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bears will be home for the holidays to greet the Grenadiers at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Cypress Creek put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They fell 78-72 to Liberty. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (63), the Bears still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Colonial was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 60-55 to University.

Cypress Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Colonial, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Cypress Creek couldn't quite finish off Colonial in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 69-67. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
