Basketball Recap: Bishop Mclaughlin Catholic Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic won the last time they faced All Saints' Academy, and Marley Weaver did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes really took it to the All Saints' Academy Saints for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-5 win thanks in part to Weaver, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Naomi Sanchez, who posted nine points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.6 points per game.
