Baseball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington lost against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lexington lost 12-2 to Decatur Heritage Christian Academy. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tate Gamble made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Decatur Heritage Christian Academy beat Lexington by a score of 15-4 later that day.
