Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union Grove Christian). They put the hurt on the Living Water Christian Warriors with a sharp 55-32 victory on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Union Grove Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sara Long, who went 7 of 8 on her way to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. That's the most points Long has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Jeffreys, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 12 points.

Union Grove Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Union Grove Christian's record is now 7-8. As for Living Water Christian, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Union Grove Christian will take on Cramerton Christian Academy in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Living Water Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bethel Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025.
