Baseball Recap: Eminence Takes a Loss

Eminence was the 3-0 winner over Carroll County when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Thursday.

Eminence saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greyson Tingle, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Eminence's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Carroll County, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eminence will head out to face off against Henry County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Carroll County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Pendleton County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
