Softball Recap: Pahokee Takes a Loss

Pahokee fell victim to Glades Day and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Gators, falling 16-0. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Pahokee's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Glades Day, their record now sits at 8-2.

Pahokee will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Glades Central at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Glades Day, they will challenge Clewiston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.31 runs per game on average), something the Gators will no doubt try to take advantage of.
