Mt. Shasta has gone 9-1 against Fall River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. Neither Mt. Shasta nor Fall River posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Mt. Shasta's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Maxwell on Wednesday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Fall River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-0 to University Prep.

Fall River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mt. Shasta, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Everything went Mt. Shasta's way against Fall River in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Mt. Shasta made off with an 8-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
