IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) with 22.
Well, maybe not so easy. Fellow Florida powerhouse
St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) had 18 signees. Between the two schools, only 17 states had more commits.

* With 392 players signing from Florida, the Sunshine State had the second-highest total in the nation, trailing only Texas (404).
* Rounding out the top 10 were California (299), Georgia (251), Ohio (126), Alabama (98), Louisiana (97), Michigan (84), Mississippi (83) and Illinois (79).
* Of the 15 Texans rated in the top 100 recruits by the 247Sports Composite Rating, only three signed with Texas schools. The top one was No. 63-rated
Anthony Hines (linebacker) of
Plano East, who hitched with Texas A&M.
* Of New Jersey's 58 signees, almost one-third of them inked to home-state Rutgers (16), including a pair of 4-stars in
St. John-Vianney (Holmdel) lineman
Micah Clark and
Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City) skill player
Bo Melton.
* Kentucky, the only Southeastern Conference school to sign an Ohio recruit, pulled six players out of the state in
Archbishop Hoban (Akron) quarterback

Maple Heights wide receiver

* This was the year of the switcheroo in Arizona. Among the biggest names to flip were Williams Field kicker
Brandon Ruiz (Alabama to Arizona State),
Basha (Chandler) quarterback
Ryan Kelley (Oregon to Arizona State), Chandler running back
TJ Green (Oregon State to Utah) and Saguaro tight end
Jared Poplawski (Arizona State to Colorado).
* Of the 73 signees out of North Carolina, a whopping 11 inked at East Carolina, including five three-stars.
* In addition to 5-star
Liberty County (Hinesville) stud
Richard Lecounte (Georgia), the University of Georgia landed 14 4-star recruits from its home state.
