Madison County entered their tilt with Cordova on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Blue Devils. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Izzy Fearnside paced Madison County's offense, picking up eight kills. Fearnside got some help from Addy Gustafson and her 18 assists.

Despite the defeat, Cordova saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lexee King had 35 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Kacharos, who had ten kills.

Madison County's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Cordova, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Madison County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Donoho on the 23rd. As for Cordova, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against White Plains on the 23rd.
