Baseball Recap: United South Gets the Win

United South gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against the United Longhorns by a score of 8-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-1 last Tuesday.

Juan P Briseno was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Alex Galvan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

The victory made it two in a row for United South and bumps their season record up to 15-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for United, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.
