Recap: East Canton Hornets vs. Manchester Panthers
The East Canton Hornets had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 39-28 to Manchester.
When it comes to explaining why East Canton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Audrey Wade. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
East Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Manchester, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Canton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Minerva at 6:15 p.m. on December 4th. As for Manchester, they will head out on the road to face off against North at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
