After flying high against Capistrano Valley Christian on Wednesday, Sage Hill came back down to earth. The Lightning fell 2-0 to the Etiwanda Eagles on Saturday. The Lightning's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sage Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Etiwanda, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Sage Hill will take on Northwood at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give the Lightning their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Etiwanda, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Crean Lutheran on the 6th.
