Basketball Game Preview: Oakwood Academy Mustangs vs. Hatch Bobcats

The Oakwood Academy Mustangs will challenge the Hatch Bobcats at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Oakwood Academy will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Oakwood Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-50 win over Skyline.

Oakwood Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Germono out in front who went 6-for-12 en route to 15 points and three steals. Germono has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Jaiden Morton was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Meanwhile, Hatch won against Keith on Monday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Hatch beat Keith by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 64-61. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Oakwood Academy's record now sits at 25-8. As for Hatch, their record is now 21-4.
