Tanalian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the White Mountain Wolves on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Lynx, who have now won eight contests in a row dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Tanalian and White Mountain will both be playing Shishmaref the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Northern Lights at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lynx will play them later in the day, at 6:15 p.m.
