Basketball Recap: Altus Comes Up Short

Altus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coweta Tigers.

Altus' loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Coweta, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-9 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altus has already played their next game (against Duncan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Coweta will take on Tahlequah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering Coweta has lost three straight at home and Tahlequah four straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
