It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Limestone had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Metamora Redbirds , sneaking past 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Rockets as they're now sitting on four straight.
Limestone had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-17, 26-24.
Mia Lamberti paced Limestone's offense, picking up 16 kills. Lamberti got some help from
Brynn Williamson and her 19 assists. Lamberti was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
