Summit was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Centennial on Tuesday. The Spartans' pitcher stepped up to hand the Cougars a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Summit got a great performance from Addison Johnson as she didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Anne Marie Richards, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson Willingham, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Summit's win bumped their record up to 20-14. As for Centennial, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.

As of now, neither Summit nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
