There's no place like home for Christian Brothers Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Middletown North Lions by a score of 2-0 on Friday. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Colts this season.

Christian Brothers Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10.

Sean Kennedy paced Christian Brothers Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kennedy got some help from Jake Tarzian and his 15 assists. Tarzian also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Nick Decina, racking up three apiece.

Christian Brothers Academy's record is now 3-4. As for Middletown North, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.
