Volleyball Recap: Hampton Hornets vs. Union Grove Wolverines
Hampton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Grove Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17.
Hampton's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Union Grove, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Woodland the next time they take the court. Union Grove will head out to face Woodland at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Hampton will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
