For Bandera, this counts as revenge for the 62-41 defeat the walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Bandera was led to victory by Corben Gonzales and Elijah Salas. Gonzales scored 15 points, while Salas scored 15 points along with five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Salas has scored at least a third of Bandera's points. Beau Bergfeld was another key contributor, scoring two points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Bandera's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-12. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Canyon Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-17.

Bandera will head out on the road to face off against the Billies at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
