Basketball Recap: Osakis Comes Up Short

After flying high against Staples-Motley last Monday, Osakis came back down to earth. The Osakis Silverstreaks received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 55-40 to the Holdingford Huskers. The loss continues a trend for the Silverstreaks in their matchups with the Huskers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Osakis' defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Holdingford, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-6.

Osakis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-29 victory against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on the 30th. Holdingford has also already played their next contest, a 59-52 loss against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa on the 30th.
