Devine has gone a perfect 10-0 against Somerset recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warhorses / Arabians will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Devine was able to grind out a solid victory over Pleasanton, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warhorses / Arabians.
Devine walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Devine relied on the efforts of Cami Carroll, who had 20 digs and six assists, and Greeley Malone, who had 16 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Carroll has posted since back in September.
Devine was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Somerset, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Pleasanton on Friday.
Somerset had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 25-15, 25-21.
Devine better focus on containing Camila Mendez and Alanah Casey as the pair were huge in Somerset's win. Mendez had 26 digs and five assists, while Casey had 12 digs and two aces. Mendez has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played. Jasira Jones also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
Devine's record now sits at 21-17. As for Somerset, their record is now 13-19.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Devine has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5 aces per game. However, it's not like Somerset struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Devine beat Somerset 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warhorses / Arabians since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
