Football Game Preview: Digital Harbor Rams vs. Patterson Clippers

The Digital Harbor Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Patterson Clippers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Digital Harbor's defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so Patterson's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Digital Harbor's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Benjamin Franklin 52-0. Considering the Rams' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Nakari McCory-Saunders was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Patterson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 44-0 loss at the hands of Mergenthaler Vo-Tech. While losing is never fun, the Clippers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Mustangs are ranked 34th).

The win got Digital Harbor back to even at 2-2. As for Patterson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Digital Harbor's way against Patterson when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Digital Harbor made off with a 28-6 victory. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Clippers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
