Summit Classical Christian School lost to Sound Christian back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Summit Classical Christian School Archers managed a 37-32 victory over the Sound Christian Lions. Winning may never get old, but the Archers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Kaila Brogan and Abby Mesler certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Brogan dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds, while Mesler posted 16 points and seven boards. That was a full 50% of Sound Christian's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Summit Classical Christian School is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.4 points per game. As for Sound Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-5.

Summit Classical Christian School has already played their next match (against Muckleshoot Tribal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sound Christian will head out on the road to face off against Puget Sound Adventist at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
