Softball Preview: Edinburg North Cougars vs. Economedes Jaguars

On Friday, Edinburg North got themselves on the board against Edinburg, but Edinburg never followed suit. They came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 4-0. The win was just what Edinburg North needed coming off of an 8-0 defeat in their prior match.

Destany Bermudez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just zero earned runs on two hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than seven innings in six consecutive pitching appearances.
