Volleyball Preview: Keene Chargers vs. Grandview Zebras
Keene hasn't had much luck against Grandview recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Keene Chargers will challenge the Grandview Zebras at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Last Tuesday, everything went Keene's way against Palmer as Keene made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.
The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-17.
Meanwhile, Grandview waltzed into their contest on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Bulldogs 3-0.
Grandview never let Palmer on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.
Paisley Hayes and Emma Bartosh were among the main playmakers for Grandview as the former had ten digs and two aces and the latter had five kills and two aces. Bartosh is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in the last four games she's played.
Keene's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-5. As for Grandview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.
