Basketball Game Preview: East Aces vs. Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles

East is 0-10 against Bishop Carroll since December of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The East Aces will face off against the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, East beat Olathe Northwest 62-49.

Meanwhile, Bishop Carroll had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Cougars as they made off with a 63-43 win. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

East is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Bishop Carroll, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

East came up short against Bishop Carroll when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 52-41. Can East avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
